Location :

The beautiful town of Ferrara is located in the Emilia-Romagna area, in the North-East of Italy. Its rich historical past, its monuments, its romantic atmosphere will make it an ideal place for a painting workshop. Ferrara owns much of its artistic wealth and fame to the family of Este who was ruling the city at the Renaissance time. The town appears on Unesco's world heritage list.

Dates :

The workshop starts Monday 27th of May and finishes on Saturday 1st of June, equaling six days of painting workshop.

Program :

Each morning, from 9:30 to the meal at about 1:30pm, a painting location will be suggested...We shall head off this place by foot. Tuition is made based on demonstration to the group and personal help. All levels and techniques are accepted : watercolors, gouache, oils , acrylics, ... After the painting session, you are free to visit Ferrara, paint or rest…

Price & conditions :

400 € for the workshop. This price includes organisation , tuition, general costs of the studio. It doesn't include transport and accommodation or any specific insurance for the workshop. Inscription fee : 180 €, non refundable after April 27th.

Access :

You can reach Bologna by air or train. Ferrara is 1 hour from Bologna with coach or train. You can reach Ferrara directly from the airport of Bologna.
