On this website, you will find information about my work as a painter and painting teacher.
I live in France and offer painting workshops in Paris, throughout France, and abroad.
These painting courses and workshops are open to artists of all levels, from beginners to advanced,
using various techniques : watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil painting, with various pictorial approaches: more or less figurative or abstract, travel sketchbook… In these workshops or art retreats, I strive to offer a perfect balance between artistic work and relaxation. I hope that you will feel refreshed and inspired !
MY PAINTING PRACTICE
Whatever the medium used – watercolor, oils or gouache – has always been nourished by the observation of nature. Painting outdoors, in particular, whether landscapes or cityscapes, encourages me to paint quickly, “alla prima,” without hesitation or unnecessary corrections, going straight to the heart of the matter: life, light, energy, atmosphere… preserving as much as possible the freshness of the first brushstrokes.

Fresh air, good food, the hills of Burgundy and the beautiful, picturesque little town of Semur-en-Auxois, that seems to step out of the past, perched above its river. I settled my countryside painting studio there, where you can join me for this drawing and painting workshop. …
All techniques are welcome: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil painting… Semur-en-Auxois is just 1,5 hours from Paris ( by TGV train + bus)
In this art retreat : painting outdoors, from landscapes and drawing from live models.

Tangier, travel sketches
Tangier sits on the northern tip of Morocco, where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic meet. The location is stunning, overlooking the sea and the Bay of Tangier. The city remains authentic and full of artistic poetry . All painting techniques are possible, but the most practical approach is a “travel sketchbook” approach : drawing and watercolor, or drawing and gouache, for example. please note that the climate is mild in the Summer season due to the sea.

Painting workshop on the Île de Ré
The « Ile de Ré » is an island off Atlantic coast of France, near « La Rochelle ». There, we shall find beautiful landscapes : fishing villages, golden beaches, salt marshes, lighthouses… All techniques: watercolor (for the majority of current students), acrylic, gouache, oil painting… In this art retreat : painting outdoors and drawing from a live model.
