PAINTING WORKSHOP IN THE LOIRE VALLEY WINE COUNTRY
The location
We are geographically in the center of France . The workshop takes place in the countryside of Sancerre, a beautiful village built on a rocky outcrop surrounded by vineyards. The town is home to its now world-famous wines and also of a famous goat cheese. We are accommodated in an old mill, which has been remarkably renovated, located 10 km from Sancerre among the hilly landscapes of groves and meadows of the « Berry » area.

The program : landscape and life drawing
In the morning, we work from the surrounding landscapes ( for example, in one of the beautiful villages of the neighborhood). In the afternoon, individual work or rest … From 5pm to 7pm, life model drawing or painting. All levels and techniques are welcome : watercolor, oils, gouache... The teaching method consists of group demonstrations and individual corrections. Our painting session takes place every morning from 9:30 a.m. until lunchtime, around 1:30 p.m., but can be postponed if we need time to reach our painting location. Outside painting time, you're free to continue painting, rest, or explore... I can send you a list of materials.Dates :

Price : 645 € for one week. Price includes tuition and accommodation. Transport and meals are not included Reservation fees : 295 € ( not refundable after July 15th). 2 beds per room. Rooms are available at about 3:00 pm, on the day of arrival. Supplement of 145 € for a private room. Meals are prepared by a lady of the neighborhood.
